If im using 4 caps, Do i need 4 diodes? And how do i hook them?

Like.. Do i put a diode across each + - of a capacitor, and put it in parallel? Or what?

Yeah, Thx. Got my big 400V 470uf caps today, only tested only but at only 100/400V and was able to bring a 5-inch metal rod i have, and bring it fully out of coil. but thats only 36 joules at its 400V max, im talking a low 100V xD

Ya. My SCR.. I cant even figure.
