H-bridge can provide power from GDT, how?

This is what happens when an unpowered bridge is connected to a load where the input power usually goes. only the GDT is driven. See youtube video description for circuit details.

I've found some strange voltage differences in different parts of my H-bridges when poking around with a multimeter with power supply off and gate drive on. I'm guessing it's the same deal.

Miller capacitance. Same reason a ZVS will run with only its gate power supply and the main power turned off.

I've noticed the same thing with my H-Bridge, powering a tesla coil. Where you had the inductor in your circuit I had the primary, and with the secondary in place it would light flourescent tubes. No power connected, only signal through GDT. It seems it transfers a decent amount of energy through.
