Hi all I've been a lurked here off and on now for a few years, I appologise for no introduction. I am in the process of reevaluating my career path and I am in need of some educational advice.
I have previously spent six years studying computer programming, however I have spent the last four years in a totally unrelated career (yeah economy). I am strongly considering going back to school as I am only 28 and crammed so full of ideas that I am having trouble understanding/experimenting/verifying/rejecting/
etc.
Aside from software engineering, my strongest interests all fall back to HV and theoretical physics. I have read so much on Tesla and his projects but much of the math and concepts/terminology is far out of my scope. I find that I am most inspired while reading about resonance an standing waves. I have never built a coil myself as it also seems to be a little out of my scope and my comfort level.
I would liketo change this and take some classes or go for a degree in a related discipline, however I am not sure what types of programs I would be looking into. If it helps, I live in Waterloo Ontario which is home to University of Waterloo, perimeter institute for theoretical physics, institute for quantum computing...and of course RIM.
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Nathan
