its open source so i dont know what "client" and "sump" mean!? and can anyone tell me if the screen trace colors can be changed to match the physical wire clips?
i like this one because its cheap, but it doesnt seem to support spi, and the rest.

Sump is the name of a piece of software used for analizing logic signals (which you appear to have downloaded) and client just means that it connects to the buss pirate (or other sump compatible logic analyzer) and uses the data provided by it.
It looks like version 8 of sump supports I2C/SPI decoding, although I can't find a useful manual for the software. They appear to have only have documentation for the underlying code, but not the final GUI

I have this logic analyzer. Basically it's still in development but is quite useful. There are a few protocol decoders at the moment spi and i2c are supported. The only downside of it is that it doesn't support continuous capture yet. Think the software will keep evolving for quite some time now so it'll get more useful as time passes along. And you have the bonus of a cheap fpga devboard :)
