After a recent trip to a local surplus store I brought home a number of items several of which I have yet to find any information on.
Most important among these items are 5 puk SCR units with the clamping assembly and 21 high voltage diodes. I would like to sell some of each but I don’t want to list them without having the basic specs at least.

The puks were manufactured by Westinghouse and their ID number is 143 333 009 8434. International Rectifier manufactured all but one of the diodes and their ID number is 67C250D20TTS. I emailed International Rectifier last week requesting a copy of the spec sheet for these diodes but they have yet to reply.

So, if anyone has some information about these devices lying about or a good source for it that you could direct me to I would greatly appreciate it.

I would call IR directly and speak to a technical represenative. As an engineer, if have found if you try to email any of these large companies, you will rarely get a response. Call them up and speak to a real person there.

I will certainly give that a try tomorrow during business hours. Hopefully I get somewhere with them then.

Hi Grant,

Did you ever get any data on the IR units? I've just found some of the same and understand that they might be 6kV. BTW the part number looks more like 67C250D2OTTS (that's an 'oh' before the TTS).
