On the Vladimiro Mazzilli flyback driver what components need be changed in order to allow for higher input voltage, currently Ive run mine up to 50VDC from a rewound MOT smoothed but no current limiting, and nothing on the driver or MOT gets hot (only the wimpy ac flybacks i keep melting) and i have since added a 75DC tap point on my MOT supply and don't really know if my driver will handle it. i have seen a video on YouTube where a guy put another 470ohm resistor in series with the ones on the circuit like one on each, Would that be sufficient ? the components im using are as follows 1x 680nf PP axial leads capacitor 2x 5watt 15v zeners 2x IRFP250's 2x 10k 2 watt resistors 2x 470ohm 2 watt resistors 1x inverter MO inductor core rewound with 30 turns of wire from a MOT primary coil 2x ultrafast 400v 30amp diodes, 30ns recovery

add more primary capacitance beween 1.5uf to 3uf or more at a VCC around 40v. What gauge are you using on your primary and what type of caps are you useing. Cirtan flybacks are only going to be able to put out so much voltage. bigger fly = bigger spark also more flies of the same type can be phased in or out for voltage increase or current increase
