I build an 2x motstack an it runs very well (10-15cm. arcs) I run it on Phase 1 and N from the 400 volt line ,because there is a 16 amp safety device
but the mot stack draws too much current and i´ve to limit it
i know i can use an mot with short circuit secondary in series to the mot stack but i just have an mot without an secondary winding, so i tested it (in series to the stack) and i just have an 5mm arc (is it too much limited?) or must the mot have an secondary which is short circuited?
i heard about limiting it with lightbulbes how is this done ? just some lightbulbes in series to the mot stack´s primary ?
