...and i'm not really sure what they're useful for. Anyone have any ideas?

Use a semiconductor search engine like Link2 to find what each of the parts you have does? I would definitely keep it because you never know when random useful semiconductors could become useful.

If you want to use the drawers for other stuff, it works well to store SMD parts in baseball card holders in a binder, much more compact than drawers smile

In any case, it looks like you have a decent assortment of parts, I would imagine they will come in useful at some point.

I wish people would sell me stuff that cheap...

just google the part numbers, looking at the labels on the drawers they mostly seem like quite standard ICs
