Ive been working with some acrylic, when ive run into a problem,
after removing the protective backing of the thing, there seems to have left behind a nice layer of translucent, dried glue-like fuzz on the piece from the paper, this is very stuborn, tried to have it under hot water, scratched it with rough cloth, scratched with fingernails, even tried to use a razor to get at the corners, but with no effect...

hmm.. just tried it now with no effect... I poured some on and scrubbed it, and nothing.
Ill let the block sit in this stuff for the next hour in a ventilated room and we will see what happens..
EDIT: looks like an hour is unessasary, I checked 10 minutes after leaving it in the solution, the glue residue was effectivly turned into a pulp, which was easy to remove my rubbing it with some rag..

A product found in most offices, which I've found to work very well on dried masking film residue, is white-board cleaning fluid. In handy spray applicator!
Contains IPA and ethylene glycol monobutyl ether. Still helps to let it soak in for a few minutes.
