Capacitors For Sale, Too Good of A Deal To Be True?

I found these capacitors on eBay, and am thinking they are too good of a deal to be true. They are made by Hitachi AIC, whose website has the following warning: Link2

The specs on the capacitors are as follows:

450V (500 Surge)
6,800 uF
25 mO ESR

The asking price is $25.00 each but you can offer a better price. I bought 10 of them for $150.00 a while back and am wanting to buy some more, but am paying heed to the warning on Hitachi's website.

Can anyone help me determine if these are real or counterfeit? Thanks! Below is the link to the eBay page:

Perhaps Hitachi will be able to tell if you ask?

I sent them an email recently and am still waiting on a reply. I will update this thread if I find out anything.

The email I received from Hitachi is pasted below:

[Being email]

Hello Jordan,

From the pictures, we confirm it
is Hitachi original capacitor which manufactured in
our factory in Japan.

However, lot is quite old which has manufactured
in June 2001 (9years).
As the maximum storage time is 3years, it may not
keep the original spec and quality.

Best Regards,

Keiichi Fujizuka
Hitachi Chemical Co. America, Ltd.

[End email]

edit:

Anyone think these might not be safe to use?

I suggest reforming them, bring up the voltage slowly over the period of hours. This will prevent any accidents.
Good luck on the ETG.

I got a few mallory 8000MFD caps from the navy surplus (new) for $5 each. Sometimes good deals just appear out of no where...
