hey all,

i need help finding SF1600 diodes or similar, is there a way to find an equivelnt part to SF1600 by a different manufacturure instead of Vishay. mouser, digikey and others seem not to have it, but i need 2,000 of the buggers for my college project.
it must be a fast, avalanche rated, HV diode.

i use many of these in series for a 22kV pk-pk full wave bridge rectifier, at 100kHz.
any help is appreciated.

Here is a pdf :

Newark Electornics quotes a 50-day lead time.

Check out Semikron.

You might Chinese equivalents, that may even prove to be real, out in the wilderness. Welcome to the world of backlog ordering, happy hunting.

Try searching NTE for an equivalent. You can also call/email them. I had a similar issue with HFA15tb60 Diodes and was able to find something similar through NTE.

Found this on a digikey parametric search, seems pretty similar: Link2

It has the same 75ns reverse recovery time . I'm not sure how the forward recovery time will impact your project, but at 500ns which is 5% of your 100kHz period it's probably not too bad.
