Hey guys, I spent most of my day today making this CAD file for an array of 40 (four strings of ten) Cornell-Dubilier 942c20p15k-f capacitors. It really came out well. I hope this helps out someone that is looking to make a similar array. If anyone wants the actual .dwg files, let me know, i will be happy to send them to you. I will post pics of my completed one once i get some nylon standoffs.
Thanks,
William

P.S. It is a two level design. The bottom level does not require the four 1/16" holes on the right side. This design is very easily expandable for larger coils. If you would like me to expand the drawing for a larger coil, don't hesitate to ask. -William

Nice & clear. I've used the "Express" programs..... What program did you use - AutoCad? And what's the retail cost on a similar array?

I used AutoCAD 2010 Student. I don't know exactly how easy the student version is to get, I actually emailed someone that i know that works there, and he helped me out. As for the cost, i payed $3.40 each capacitor so it was about 150 dollars with the plexiglass and hardware. I am going to post pictures of the completed array in 10 minutes. it looks great.
