Hello all
I was just looking for print cartridges that will print UV reactive ink. I doubt I will be able to find any, but does anyone know if I could put UV reactive ink into an existing cartridge? I'm using Linux now with an HP 5550 so I don't think that Linux cares about how "full" the ink cartridges are.

I have not seen any...
As to filling them, it is my understanding that some types of cartridges are really pickey about the ink, but if you can find some UV active ink that is similar to the printer ink... I wouldn't even try to use uv paint.
You would be amazed at what printer manufactures will do... The cannon (this was 3 years ago) I had refused to print after I had removed the print head 5 times Lukily the ink tanks were dumb so it couldn't count the cartridges (I ran ~.5l of refill ink through that thing before I removed the print head one to many times) Just something to think about...

I have tried filling HP ink cartridges with different liquids and it has worked surprisingly well. It is likely to ruin the cartridge pretty fast but it does not matter much.
