Neon, argon or flourescent lamps glow in radio and electric fields. A while ago I found that on a dark night strings of LED Xmas lights flash, non contact, close to electric (livestock) fences.
(1) What sort of a simple loop can you make to light LEDs some distance from a TC and..
(2) How would you convert a standard 120 0r 240 volt LED lightbulb to glow like Tesla's wireless gas filled lamp?
There are also EL panels out there too in cheap nightlights.

well, I guess that those LEDs flash near that fence, probably because the fence is energized by a high frequency solid state supply, also, if the current is low enough, the voltage doesn't really matter of the LEDs, I had a string of LEDs on a bushing of a 15KV 30MA NST, and at 60hz, I could draw an arc, the LEDs will light up and wont burn out. with a TC, the leds need to be a bit close and then they glow, I would think that your LED need to have one lead in the ground, and one lead in the air, and it will glow with the TC's field, I have held CFLs and LEDs to tesla coils before and they glow without a path to ground, so both methods will work.

The fencer dumps a 3 ufd cap charged to 400 V into primary of an iron core tranny; Its a Sure-Shock.
I was thinking more a small loop. Long ago I made a 40 foot long , stove-pipe wire core, single layer #18, winding, connected to an audio amp. Women wearing crystal earplugs attached to a flat type phone pickup coil, got directions to wire a hugh electrical harness cable for aircraft while walking, passive pickup.
