I have a tektronix 2465 (200 or 300mhz scope, I am not at home so I don't remember which) oscilloscope. I believe that despite setting my input to 1Mohm, it is still set at 50ohm impedance. If this is broken, how would I fix it? Is there a relay that can change the impedance? Right now, my choices are to choose AC/GND/DC/GND for 1Mohm, or 50ohm DC. Is there a switch I am not seeing?
Here is a link to the scope on Ebay and you can enloarge the image to see the front. Again, I am choosing the 1mohm DC setting, but I read 50ohm impedance.
EDIT: It seems after hooking an ohm meter to the input I am measuring 1Mohm, so the problem is not the scope.
