can anyone help me? I'm trying to find a good pcb for coil gun, i'm running 30 330v 270uf capacitor's in parellel single stage, 555 timer. and i'm trying to find a fater way to charge. i need help with the whole thing. any help would be great

Try using a transformer connected to the power mains. Follow that with a fullwave rectifier and current-limiting resistor. Highly reliable and very fast. It could fill your 440-joule bank in a very few seconds.
When choosing a transformer, note the square-root-of-two conversion factor between AC and DC. This is due to charging caps up to the peak voltage, while AC is specified in RMS voltage.
That is, to get 330v DC then all you need is a transformer output of (330)/(1.414) = 233v AC. Fortunately a common transformer size is 220v secondary output.
