Hi all.

Just had an interesting project idea. Take an otherwise sucky model heli and turn it into a flying POV.

basic idea is to rely on autorotation and a small axial gyro to spin a stationary POV strip mounted on the frame, and project an image in midair.

Would seem to be feasible but the devil is in the details.

any ideas?

pretty impressive..

my version uses a display around the entire periphery however so should appear like a "solid" display.
