No it doesn't:
I still get alldatasheet.com and so on. ONSemi's own copy of the MC34063 datasheet doesn't appear until the second page.
I class alldatasheet and the like as spam, because they collect datasheets, bid themselves up above the manufacturer's own site in the Google rankings, and then make you look at ads to get your datasheet.

Sorry it wasn't as good as I thought.
Apparently it works by including a list of sites to block so if anyone knows how to set up one of these custom Google searches it should be a case of just adding the offenders to the block list that that one already uses.
This describes the custom search and below is the list of blocked sites at the time:

just lately I've started going directly to datasheetcatalog.com to do datasheet searches, rather than using google like I used to. I find 90% of what I need is on there. If the component cannot be found on that site, then a good solution is to hook it across 2 phases - so that the lack of datasheet is no longer a problem!

I've used the "NTE Quick Cross" software (free from NTE) - Pretty large database: it's very fast simplistic but it's just what's needed if you only want fast substitution and stats.

I don't know if anyone else does this, but i get everything i have needed from either Digikey or Allied electronics. If you know your part # Allied references their # as well as manufacturers #. Both sites have the data sheets or a link to the manufacturers site with data sheet. So far so good where i am concerned.

Presumably the catch is that it crosses your part to the NTE equivalent in the hope that you'll buy it. NTE components are generally junk.

RS Components () used to force you to login to see their datasheets, but now they are all available without registration. They have a huge range of parts (but probably still a sub-set of DigiKey's)
