Here is an Egg of Columbus (a Serbian import!). It was funded by the local Tesla forum of which I am a member, and donated to a local Science museum, Scitech. Runs on the local 240V and will spin in either direction.

Hi Tesladownunder,
This is the first time I see an air-cored egg of columbus like this - and what is even more unusual is that it only has 30VA rating and a 1A fuse on it...
Typically there is a massive toroidal core wound with three-phase windings with the egg placed in the center. Those seem to draw many KVA and can't be ran for long without overheating...
