I have recently gotten a large box of assorted components consisting of some tv voltage multipliers and two variable 500v power supplies along with a lot of other assorted goodies. The problem is that there are few distinguishable markings and its hard to find any specifications online as they have been in an attic since the 80's so I can't find any specifications of them.

Does anyone happen to know of any sites to find old spec sheets and the like?

If you carefully transcribe ALL the numbers on the flybacks, in the sequence they are in from top to bottom, then I will look it up in HR Diemen's "The Book" (Spanish flyback bible) for you. I can't promise anything, but there is a good chance they will be in there.

As for resistors you can just measure them with your multimeter, and capacitors too if you have that on the meter.

As for transistors, silicon chips etc, the very best source of free data sheets is here:

This is the only one I could find for you, lad. I guess the others are obsolete.

You'll see from the table at the bottom that if you run the LOPT their way, it has an EHT o/p of 16.1 kV/6mA.

It is a split secondary DC flyback, which means that if you overdrive it much, the internal diodes will fail.

How's that? smile

Hi Dan,

Some HV multiplier information for you from a few of my older data sheets...

Keep us in the loop if you happen to build anything with the multipliers.

Best regards,

Steve Maurer
