Im working a couple of months now on my new DRSSTC with my own IGBT driver with desat. detection. The DRSSTC Controler is nearly steve wards design with little modification for fault detection from the igbt drive and a second fault-pin for future use. This is my photostory.

Technical Data:

-Mitsubishi IGBT 1200V 400A
-3ph Semikron bridge rectifier
-optical driver with desat. detection and fault output (+30 -10V gate drive)
-smps for gate drive and logic
-dead-time generator for igbt drive and desat. detection

A little video from my coil in action, bus voltage is about ~300V. I tuned the primary a little bit lower than the secondary. Streamers are about 1,2-1,5m... :)

Your photos are all far over the 400 pixel width limit, please resize them or they will be deleted.
