OK, as various people have pointed out this is a very expensive way of making a PCB ($2 for the lightscribe disk, 1hr of time, etc.) but if you need a PCB and have no laser printer then its useful.
with the LED array I am using exposure time is 6 minutes at 1cm, sanded the tops of the LEDs to diffuse the light correctly and it works well with the disk placed label down onto the "green" Maplins positive photosensitive PCB.
It would probably work with the brown negative resist type but nowhere near as well.
