I am planning to do a different scheme to run one of my coils and decided to make a DC power.
Searching the net, I found this page with this scheme:
Reproduce this pattern at home with my dual MOT + Doubler, I put 4 mots in series to form a choke, I made some decents ARCS and without oscillations, apparently, decided to put in my tesla coil, but the RSG not fire, which can be?
Looking and reading the page I saw that I can put two resistors in the output of the source in place of Choke, the first question, it works well?
Another question, if I put in Charging Choke out, there is some ideal value?

The value of the charging choke will determine how quickly your caps charge, and hence how fast your rotary gap can be. i believe Richie Burnett's website has lots of info on designing DC charging systems.
When you say you put 4-mots in series to form a choke, do you mean for the high voltage charging choke? or on the mains side as a ballast choke? If its on the mains side, 4 in series may be too much and you might be loosing some voltage across the 4 mots, leaving only a fraction of the voltage across the primary of your main set of mots, sso the voltage may be too low to fire the spark gap. have you tried making the electrode spacing narrower?

I said I put 4 MOT in series to form the Charging Choke the output of the source, but as you said, I may be losing some tension as well, the gap not fire.
Not tried to place the electrodes closer, could have done this, I'm thinking about doing another type of RSG, with control of speed ..
saw the site for Richie, I figured the value of the choke for my source, has somewhere around 33H, judging that 200BPS in RSG, but I will review my options and see what I do.
But even if I answered, I can really use resistors in the output Doubler, and will work well?

Let us know how the resistors work out! In my single MOT+quadrupler coil, i tried 2 1000ohm 100 watt ressitors and it did not work with a firey arc at the spark gap, and the resistors heated up a hell of a bunch (too much resistance, but less did not work either!). I might try this circuit, i have two large MOT's identical and they do not heat vary fast :D.

Yes, if you are talking about the guy with a name like... idk. Reminds me of beer though then i have seen that one. I am not too sure why it did not work on mine at all, but i have a few ideas. I am thinking because there was lower output current from the quadrupler, the quadrupler caps where too big, and all kindsa stuff.
I think i will try this though. I'd like to thank you though, for the idea :D :DD

One thing I might suggest when charging capacitors from a 'level shifter' supply (like a voltage doubled mot) is to add an extra diode in series with the output. Yes the output is DC, but on the low cycles it is pulled to ground (his is how the cap gets charged up) so if you want to charge caps with it you need an extra diode in series with the output so the cap can float when the output is low. A better solution of course is the inductor (with the diode after the inductor in this case, make sure its a fast diode since it will have the tank circuit to contend with) which won't waste nearly as much power--but the resistors should work fine.

and dont forget even with an inductor, you need a 'de-qing' diode in series to ensure that once the tank cap has charged to higher than the supply voltage, it cant discharge via the inductor
