I have a 20VB6 and Its filtering a Ignition Coil based tesla coil. When I run the coil with the line filter, my TV and phones etc still go fuzzy. What could be going wrong?

All that a line filter does is prevent RF from being directly injected into mains. It won't stop the RF being transmitted by your TC from getting to other electronic devices near by. The only way to block this RF is putting your TC in a faraday cage. A faraday cage is just a enclosed conductive mesh structure that is grounded.

Well even low power coils can put out a lot of RF. This is what they were originally designed to do in the first place. The streamers were actually an unwanted side effect. Generally I'm too busy watching my TC when it's in operation to bother with watching TV; As a resault I have never really tried to block this RF interference. However I'm sure a line filter and a faraday cage will fix your problem..

This post was more about the line filter which is an electronic component. I think that the rf is being picked up by the calbe lines in the ceiling. Thanks for the help
