I geared for torque to be on the safe side - I can swap sprocket on the wheel for smaller one to get more speed now that I know it works. I didn't go as fast as it could because I don't have my bike helmet anymore.
The company below has a 36V 450W motor with gearbox and SAE#40 chain sprocket already for $100.00 I've put that motor on 3 wheel bicycles and it's plenty of power.
