I have plenty of projects in mind (some of which are already in construction) that call for a high-power high-frequency transformer. (One of them just might be for an all-electric drive system for a mini RC railgun tank...) I know that 1700W from a FT-240-77 core is already a lot of power, but what if I stacked a number of cores (within reason) on top of each other? How much would this increase the power? I currently think it might double the power, or somewhat less because surfaces of both cores would be covered.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
