Interaction of magnetic fields

 		i was wondering if two opposing magentic field interacted with each other...not the item that is creating the field but the field its self. Does it have somethign to do with the frequency of the field?

I understand that in like a coilgun the crojectile is centered in the marrel, im assuming because of the fields produced by eddy currents...?

But whats the effect of the fields them selves. Do they interfere with each other?

 		My ring toss uses this principle. A copper current carying coil induces a very large eddy current in an Aluminium ring. The fields are equal and opposite, but since the coil is stationary the ring must move, and it does! It's a pretty neat demo.

 		If part of a system being considered is non-linear, then things do not add linearly.
e.g. In magnetic circuits, steel or ferrite cores are non-linear.

 		If you're trying to eliminate coupling between transformers there are some things that you can do.
1. end bells shielding and grounding
2. distance because the field drops off as a square no linear
3. put them at 90* to each other if space is an issue.

Your intuition is is leading you to a field-force relationship known as the "Maxwell Stress Tensor". Shown here in Gaussian units Link2 )
Electromagnetic fields can impart momentum to bodies (like coilgun projectile, charged masses, permanent magnets or interplanetary light sails, for example). The forces are not explicitly dependent on frequency...however, the devices that generate the fields may have a strong frequency dependence

In my coilgun modeling, I use the Maxwell Stress tensor directly to compute the force acting on the projectile.
