Back a while ago I decided to order some speakers and build myself some good new speakers for real HI-FI use.

The speaker box is built of MDF screwed and glued together. Each speaker consist of two woofers and one tweeter. Two Vifa TC14WG and one Vifa D26NC. I bought this as a package with building instructions from a norwegian DIY speaker firm (dynabel.no), and I got the MDF from a local wood dealer. The sound from these babies are just totally amazing, for the size they can go very low and of course very high. Listening to acoustic music on these are a must do for everyone. Every detail of the sound sounds absolutely great.

is it a bad thing that the part of that speaker I liked the most was that monster inductor wound with 2mm wire :p Or worse that i managed to surf the site enough to find that a 300ft coil (6lb) of it would cost $300 Jeesh, might as well buy a real spool :p

In any case, sweet looking speaker!

The pricing is not Euro or dollars it is in NOK, norwegian kroner. One USD is about 0.14 kroner. You do the math.

You migth find inductors that are worth a wooping 300$ each but I only paid like 10 USD for each of mine.
