Well, First off all I have to thank you all and the administrators of this forum. This whole community have inspired me an many many others. I can't say how much I appreciate all the knowledge I have learned from this forum. Me myself have been around on this forum for almost two years. In my time here I don't feel that I have contributed so much here, other than irrelevant posts and off topics.
And I almost forgot, the HvWiki have also been very helpful. But now I want to change that, I want to inspire. Inspire the only way I can, simply show you what I have been up too for the past week.
It is a PWM based flyback driver that is able to audio modulate the arc to create sound waves. Nothing too fancy about it, you all have seen it before. It is based on the circuit made by Michi on Steve Connors site. I just added two UCCs so it will be able to drive a half bridge of MOSFETs trough a GDT. I don't think it is necessary to drive a half bridge but that is just how I made it. It is easy to modify the circuit to run only one MOSFET trough MOSFET driver or some discrete driver.
I have not actually tried the whole circuit together. But I have tried the oscillator PWM for sound input. But I am working to get the whole thing up and running. I have designed and etched a PCB it is in the zip file. You can use the PCB to a SSTC or a flyback driver you just need to change the values a little.
