hello
I have question, regarding my coilgun, actually i just want to know for multi stage coil gun which instrument we have to have to make it work(suppose for 3 stages) with 3 caps bank?

and the second question is i have my single stage coil with a cap 6300MFD/400VDC i just want to charge it with normal disposal camera, but i did not, so please tell me would that be reasonable to charge the cap like that if not direct me what can i do?

At 6300uF/400VDC (compared to the measly 100uF that most disposable camera flashes have) would take a year and a half to charge. The easy way out is a boost converter, the harder way is to build a SMPS.
