These single cells are always fun. We had a handful of BC cells in our lab at school. Cyclon The biggest problem is they are single cell lead acid, 2v each you would need 75 to 125 just to meet your voltage requirement. Should be able to hit 1300A short circuit though.

Car batteries are big and expensive, but tractor or motorcycle batteries would be smaller, cheaper and still have high current outputs.
