Hi all IH enthusiast!
I've been playing with my induction heater 2KW ( rectifier, half bridge inverter 40KHz, 2: 1 high freq. transformer and LCLR tank load. I want to use it with a graphite crucible to melt non conducting materials but I'll have to use full bridge inverter with three Mosfet in parallel in each leg so I'll need 12 IRFP460 Mosfets and water cooled heatsinks and water punp and small radiator For the moment I've been adjusting the resonant freq. manually by I would like to use Uzzors PLL drive circuit .
I started to melt aluminum in a ceramic crucible , temperature was 830ºC . here is some pictures
