Tesla Fest 2008 a.k.a. Lightning on the Lawn

when: Sat Sept. 8th noon to 11 PM

what: large Tesla Fest with flea market including:
caps, spark gaps, potential transformers, pole transformers, complete coils, and lots
of other HV goodies. Marx and Van de Graaff generators also welcome.

where: E11870 Shady Lane Rd., Baraboo, WI 53913 (185 mi. NW of Chicago on I90/94) exit at exit# 92 Wis. Dells

who: anyone interested in Tesla coils and HV

to do: bring your coil along

goodies: we eat at 6 PM

It's hardly worth having a fest here (Au), a couple of us in Melbourne, a couple in Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns, and Pete in WA.
Maybe we could have it at Uluru. All ...10 of us cheesey

Im sure security would just love that one wink Anyway i would love to come to the teslathon but i have something going on that weekend. Maybe next year when i have my licence i will take a ride up there.

I would love to come, but imagine justifying driving for 8 hours to the boss, for a half day long event. Darnit. I don't have much, but I would definitely fix my mini CWs, and perhaps try to finish my MOT coil.
