I finally purchased an x-ray cassette after discovering they could be found in Germany and the shipping wasn't too bad. I just have a few questions -
Are they usually light-proof so undeveloped film can just be put inside?
Which screen is the phosphor and what is the purple divider for?

Hi! Yes, you can put "clear" paper or film inside and after closing the cassette it's safe and can be carried in light. Both white sheets are "the phosphor", this purple divider is probably undeveloped x-ray film and it's there to protect the intensyfying screens (the front and back screens shouldn't be in touch each other).
