Well it is on to my next big project being a drsstc. It is based off Steve Ward's 40n60 minibrick topology. I am going to be using a 18" secondary wound on 4" pvc with 30g wire. Today i made the controller pcb and tomorrow I will place a Newark order with all the parts that i need. I still am in need of a bus cap, the igbt's, mmc and toroids but i am shooting for a completion date in November at the latest. Here is a pic of the pcb. I still need to drill the holes.

That a nice board! I was building a DRSSTC with specs near of yours, but mine was with 23'' (60cm) but it was same like you, 4'' diameter and wire 30 AWG.

Update. I finished varnishing the secondary and boy does it look nice. i also started making the primary supports and tomorrow Mouser is coming so i can puld the controller board. I made the toroid today also. It is a 4x13 toroid because eventually i want to get one of John Freau's toroids but by time i buy igbt's i will max out my $250 budget for the coil so i will get the toroid later.
