Are these valves any good

 		well these are the most local valves i can buy so could it be possible to build a mini VTTC with any of them smile

then there is tab browse produtcs under that there is a list

in the list look for 'other components'

than there is another list open it up and go to valves it is the third last one cheesey

 		Really, I think it would be better to get a tube that is known to work well for VTTCs. Ebay would be cheaper for the tube you want.

Is it that you cant buy stuff from ebay because you don't have a paypall account?

ye i dont have a paypal ill have to ask my sister to set one up for me , and plus this shop is only like 500meters from my house

 		You might be able to get breakout with a tube like that, but for the price you would be much better off getting something like an 811a.

BTW, most people on ebay will take a check, some of them even do cash. Just ask...

 		A television line output valve such as PL81 would make for an excellent self-oscillating Tesla, and often appear in ebay for a few pounds.

These can be run up to 550V anode voltage/180mA but can handle peak voltages up to 7kV.

Much of the instability and spurious oscillation associated with triodes can be avoided by the use of these sturdy pentode valves.
