At this site: Link2 under the tab "Extending MOT stacks" there may be a way for me to get a good HV source from my MOT's, but i am not familar to this kind of settup. If anyone have some experience with this i woulde be greatful, also i dont think i really get it so an simple explanation on how it work would be great :)

I got a great deal of MOT's, 12 that are tested and i know work. Of those. three are of the rare kind who are designed for 3KV.
So, how should i go about putting this together?
It's to be used as a power source for a Tesla Coil, it's hard to find those Lovely NST up here in Morway, and i am kinda ,makeing a no-low budget coil.

Most of (if not all the necessary) part for the coil is ready now, all i got to do is to start putting it together, but i ain't feeling like just using two MOT's i series with a third as a current limmiter :P

I where not sure on with catgory to put this in, but my concerns is building the HV supply, not the rest of the coil (those troubles are for later).

Any kind of help is apreaciated greatly :)

Too much Iron to move around if you ask me, I used oil to prevent flashover in my quad MOT supply.

Yeah, one more thing: Do anyone of you got any idê how much amperes it would pull, the settup with a pair MOT's connected to the line, then each connected to a new one wich then connects to 2x2.
I don't think using eight MOT's on my line would be good, but if it just pulled the amperes of the two originaly connected to the line it would be great.
Some of you know?
(kinda fear that the last 4 MOT's, those who kinda are in series would pull a lot of amp's, but maybe this settup made them not :P )

My set of four draw less than 10A with no power-factor correction. It is ballasted with another MOT (with the secondary shorted of course). You will definitely need a ballast.

4-MOT stack will draw around 80 amps shorted from 240V unballasted (right, that's nearly 20kVA).
