As some of you know and have read my projects thread about the very big variac i scored i now have some questions concerning how to hook it up. I am assuming that i use the primary neutral as the secondary neutrall but im not sure how i hook everything up the the parallaling choke. Here is a pic so maybe some of you can give me some help on how to hook this monster up.

The choke is in that black box mounted to the bottom variac.

It should be connected between the output (brush) terminals of the two units, from what I understand.

Ok i have one more question. I have decided that i am going to run the coil with 240v. I am planning on using 1 variac for each 120v pole and leave out the choke and have a completely common ground. Am i doing this right or not? Tell me what you think.
