Hi, I'm wondering what were the connections for a voltage doubler that used just a bridge rectifier and two caps. I have made it before, I just can't find the connections I am supposed to make anymore.

I would like to "piggy-back" that question with another about voltage/current rating. I would imagine that the current of a rectifier or diode could be kept low but what of the voltage level? If one were using some 15Kv caps would the diodes need similar rating?

put the two caps in series, connect positive out from bridge to positive of the series caps, negative to the negative side of the series caps and then connect a wire from AC in to the middle of the two series caps.

Quick voltage doubler question
