Thought the IH enthusiasts might find these interesting:
160kW (2MVA) 100kHz LCLR induction heater using IGBT bridge and variable frequency control:

1kW 1.6MHz LCLR induction heater using MOSFETs and phase-shifted power control

First paper goes into some detail about the control loop design. Inverter output-voltage phase and tank-voltage phase are sensed, and the VCO operating frequency is adjusted to obtain the correct relationship between them. This is the same control stratergy as described on my website for frequency tracking and power control.
Second paper shows how power control can be achieved with fixed frequency operation. The LCLR load is connected to the combined output of two independent bridge legs. Power control is achieved by phase-shifting drive to one bridge leg so they are either working together or against eachother. The paper explains how this achieves ZVS (soft-switching) which is essential when operating at 1.6MHz.
