ok, so im doing a project, im trying to get the most effeciancy i can with a coil gun. I was wondering which barrel i should use:
product number 8532K11 and 8547K11. One is acrylic and the other is teflon PTFE. Since im using 8920K11 and 6750K131 (induction) for projectiles, it will be a perfect fit. This means that the coil cant lift the projectile up and make it float down the barrel, so the Teflon seems better, its more slippery. Strength is also an issue, i plan on using 5KJ through 8-12 AWG wire.
For the steel rod (8920K11), is that a good one or is there a better type? they dont have silicon steel.
