As most of you know I am constructing a x-ray machine. This is for all of you who have done this. This is where you can give advice and proudly show your work! I will start. Mine will be used to photograph flowers and all sorts a of things. (Nothing living) I will also use it to see whats inside of thing Before I take them apart. The power supply is a complete computer monitor. See the “ready made hv power supply†thread for info. The tube is one of United Nuclear’s x-ray tubes. The shielding is rad-max 1/16 thick, aluminum 1/8 thick, ¼ thick tile, and sheet metal (steel). Overall cost about $80 Not done yet.
