I need to design a thermometer that would output +.01v per degree celsius increase. thermistor are not linear and they are a no go. How can I do this? The voltage drop across a diode IS linear with respect to temp, but it's variance needs to be amplified a lot. I do not know if this would work because the entire circuit it's self would be exposed to the temp variances and may effect the voltage offset of an op-amp. Any suggestions?

Analog, TI, maxim, etc sell thermometer-on-a-chip devices that output a voltage relative to the temperature--the most common being in a to-92 package with a .01v/C ouput. the TMP36 seems like it would fit the bill.
