Hey guys,
Is there a way to make a Numerical displayed discrete Duty cycle counter, like say something that will display, "0-99%" on a 7 segment display or a LCD screen?

Doing this with a fixed frequency is very easy, but when you start varying the frequency, than it gets quite complicated.
The best way to do it, assuming you don't mind a bit of error is using a variation on the op-amp integrator. This makes is pretty easy to do where the duty cycle output will be a DC voltage proportional to the duty cycle. I've used these types of circuits for over duty detection circuits.
In fact, i'm using a similar one in the new XenoSonic Audio Interface controller i'm releasing next month.
