I just finished modding multiple camera circuits as soon as i perfected my method.

I have a video that i am editing and i should have it finished and uploaded by Thursday.

What i did was i took a KODAK FUNSAVER camera and in the corner there is a transformer a diode an led, and a transistor. I was able to take a 2in by 2in pcb and reduce it to a 1.5cm by 1.5cm.

Just imagine!

A 1.5cm by 1.5cm charging circuit lol!

And the best part is that it requires very little electrical knowledge and the tools required should be in everyones tool box (soldering iron dremel and wire strippers).

The components, well all you need is 4x6in pieces of wire, and a regular diode.

Would any of you guys be interested in knowing how to do this? (I just want to if people are interested in this mod or not.)

If you have clear pictures it might be suitable to go in the "How to" section of the HvWiki.

I've done the same thing with the Fuji ones. They can be made even smaller. The only parts needed to make it work are the transformer, the transistor and one resistor. If the components are soldered directly together, it should occupy less than one cm^3.

I can get very clear pictures, i have done it before but i have to set special settings on my camera for "Closeups"

I would be glad to make a "How to", thats kind of what i am trying to do with my video tutorial. so i should also link it in the video description.

I just finished making the video tutorial, but i cannot upload it yet as youtube is doing maintenance or something which is preventing the upload process.

GOOD NEWS!!! youtube supports up to 1gb files now!!! yea!!!! Now i can upload videos in hd from my hd video camera in full quality.

Only problem is that my stupid camera records in a format that no programs except for sony vegas support lol!

Hey, that's a very clean-looking board. I've always freeformed my camera charger circuits, but your PCB looks way nicer smile

I just uploaded the video after a lot of trouble i finally got it so here it is!

Link2

In some parts the video is very fast so you may need to pause so you can read the directions.

If you are still having trouble just wait a bit and i should have a hv wiki How to Article on this by sunday.
