High guys, I have one theoretical concept…
I noticed that some of you are playing with the design of digital high speed cameras so I have a question, alternatively a challenge for some of you…
Once working with digital camera for taking pictures of sparks I usually set long exposition time (around 10s) and only play with the ISO and the aperture. My point is whether there is a possibility to make the occurrence of the final 10s exposition image as movie? In other words, there will be only one picture (background) a new signal in the movie will be continuously added into the first picture…
Is it doable?

No, when the sparks are overlapping on the same exposure there is very little that can be done. If you use a rotating mirror to place the sparks side by side it is possible to split up the image into frames and make a movie.
