Hi
I want to make small, something like 20-50cm spark generating DRSSTC, i have STGW30NC60W IGBT ( they are good for DRSSTC? )

Does necessary use over current protection is small DRSSTC ?
Tank cap will be 50nF 20KW ( i have ftoroplast cap's), and what kind of schematic use ?

Hey cry , no one what to help me cry
Does full-bridge is beter what minibruite configuration? (about IGBT )
And 20kV 50nF is good cap for my setup ??
And Vgs for my IGBT should be 20V or 15V ?
And with my IGBT current limiting set to 200A ??
And feedback xformer should be mounted on secondary or primary ? mad

You should just ask the guys in that thread, they have built, are building them, so theres a lot of
experience on Dans design there.

What about IGBT Vgs ?
use 15V or more (because Max Vgs is +-20V) rolleyes

If Vgs max is 20V than I would use 20 V!! But be shure that the voltage is limmeted to 20V by zener diodes or something like that!

can I use PLL driver for DRSSTC ? because i have nice on PLL driver,
he have current x former and two different enable functions, bun tot synchronized frown

Can for DRSSTC test use SGTS Tesla coil primary and secondary ?
65cmx16cm secondary 0,5mm wire 113KHz F resonance
primary 4mm 14 turns
