I've been trying to find a low-power 555 adjustable oscillator circuit to drive a transistor for a little zapper I'm making. Any ideas? I've looked around but none of them look very good/are too powerful for my application. I'm trying to upgrade my wall-wort zapper :)

What do you mean by adjustable? There is a 555 circuit with adjustable duty cycle if that's what you want. Try Google.
And please don't ask for schematics, it's considered against rules here
