Some thing, could be transformer

Hello people

I found this thing and I dont know what it is so could you help me what that thing is.
Its quite heavy and it has writen on its self: High Voltage

If it's a transformer, with 522 ohms on the primary it's probably a very low power one.

It is most likely a florescent lighting ballast. and a burned up on at that.

Ahhah! I know what it is! Luckily the Chinese characters are readable - it is type of cold cathode light transformer - these are not solid state but actual transformers running high voltage AC - not sure how many volts but try 120V and see what happens...

How do you know it is a CCFL transformer? the chinese characters only says "Danger High Voltage"
