Is it possible to build a cheap, simple inverter welder strong enough to weld 1-3 mm steel or aluminum frames? The schemes for homemade ones are pretty complex and not for my level. Maybe someone know tutorials, worklogs that would suit me?
I can buy used 200-300A IGBT bricks cheaply. I can also buy ferrite cores by reasonable prices. The power stage of welder shouldn't be a PITA for me, but control stage is a my weakness, thus I'm asking you.
